Building Trust—German Clients Conduct On-Site Review of Product Manufacturing Process

At the beginning of December, two meticulous German clients traveled thousands of miles to innovaw's production base to personally inspect the entire manufacturing process of a product due to potential quality concerns in a development sample. This forged component involves multiple critical processes including tooling, forging, welding, and machining. Our company strictly adheres to the APQP process for development. Currently, product design and process design have been completed, and we are in the PPAP approval phase.

Our team accompanied the clients throughout all production stages, including product dies (rough and precision forging dies), actual forging operations, welding, CNC machining, and the integrated quality inspection steps. Every process and inspection was fully disclosed to the clients, transparently demonstrating the production and testing procedures. Concurrently, we provided detailed explanations on the product's process logic, the rationality of inspection methods, and the quality control details throughout the entire process.

After a full day of in-depth observation and communication, both parties jointly identified solutions to address potential quality issues in the product. At the same time, the client expressed high recognition for our well-established production processes, rigorous quality management, and transparent, open approach.

During the subsequent experience review meeting, our engineer Kong remarked: “Product development is like playing chess—you must anticipate ten moves ahead. Every alteration in a process detail may accumulate into future quality risks. We must be more rigorous and meticulous, fully leverage FMEA tools, thoroughly understand each risk point, and establish tighter control plans.”
